Mariya Pavlov

Mariya has been a tattoo artist for over 10 years. She started as an apprentice in Scotland and then continued her work in Europe. After that she moved to the states and began working in the Chicago area. She is precise and loves what she does.

About the studio

Here at Studio M tattoos, we specialize in every style of tattooing and pride ourselves in providing a clean, sterile and friendly tattoo environment.

We do custom work and enjoy turning the client’s idea into a creative design for them to carry for life.

Our artist will always take the time to discuss your tattoo with you, helping you make the best choices in design and application. We will also provide you with all the information you will need to properly care for your new tattoo.

In order to provide our clients an environment free of possible exposure to blood borne pathogens, our artist receives annual blood borne pathogen training, which includes but is not limited to, information on sterilization of instruments, proper handling of disposable sharps, and disinfection procedures for all work and sterilization areas.

Mariya was very amazing! She gives good advice about placement and how a tattoo might turn out to be and made how comfortable I was a priority. I would definitely come back for another tattoo, and would recommend anyone else to go to her! Her studio is small and private, and a cozy feel. I got my first tattoo and it couldn’t have been a better experience. Mariya was really patient with me, made sure my tattoo was in the perfect position and she’s really easy to talk to. You are in a room with just you and her, which is perfect for people like me who have anxiety being around lots of people, and she lets you use her Apple TV to play shows off Hulu, Netflix etc, which helps you to relax and get your mind off any pain you might feel from being tattooed. I’ll be going back soon for tattoo #2!
